By Brian Carey | Mar 13, 2026 1:31 PM

Clinton-Massie High School senior Andrew Smith has officially signed to continue his academic and athletic career playing football at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati. Smith has been one of the Falcons’ most accomplished multi-sport athletes, earning significant honors in both football and baseball during his high school career. As a wide receiver, he helped lead Clinton-Massie’s offense while earning 2025 Honorable Mention All-State recognition and First Team All-SBAAC honors. On the baseball field, Smith has also been a standout performer. His achievements include 2024 Honorable Mention All-SBAAC, 2025 First Team SBAAC, 2025 First Team All-City, 2025 First Team Southwest District, and 2025 PBR All-Ohio Honorable Mention recognition. At Mount St. Joseph, Smith will join the Lions football program, which competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) at the NCAA Division III level. The program has built a reputation for developing disciplined student-athletes while competing at a high level in the conference. Clinton-Massie Athletic Director Brian Carey praised Smith’s impact on the Falcons athletic programs. “Andrew has been a tremendous athlete and competitor for Clinton-Massie,” Carey said. “His work ethic, leadership, and ability to excel in multiple sports have made a lasting impact on our programs. We’re excited to see him continue his football career at Mount St. Joseph.” Smith’s signing marks another example of Clinton-Massie student-athletes continuing their careers at the collegiate level while representing Falcon Nation.
