By GameChanger Media Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons scored 14 runs in the third inning, which helped them defeat Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers 16-2 on Friday at Clinton-Massie High School. Kaiden Sherwood doubled, scoring one run, Will McCarty singled, scoring one run, Levi Davidson singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Bryson Roten-Quallen drew a walk, scoring one run, Cy Franks drew a walk, scoring one run, Cole Stump drew a walk, scoring one run, Sherwood singled, scoring two runs, Kenton Noggle singled, scoring two runs, and Davidson singled, scoring three runs. Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Lelind Stiles walked, and , each scoring one run. Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers tied the game in the top of the third thanks to a walk by CJ McCray, and a single by Hunter Landis. Jackson McGraw started the game for Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none. SJ Hoagland stepped on the hill first for Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers. The hurler surrendered one hit and two runs over two innings, striking out one and walking five. Sherwood, Eli Akers, Noggle, Davidson, and Franks each came on in relief for Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons and shutdown Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers. Sherwood and Davidson each collected two hits for Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons. Sherwood and Davidson each drove in three runs for Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons. Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. Noggle, Stump, Roten-Quallen, and Franks led the team with two free passes each. Landis led Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers with one run batted in. The left fielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Gideon Wing, Uriah Thomas, McCray, and Landis each collected one hit for Xenia Junior Varsity Buccaneers.
