Clinton-Massie Middle School Track & Field Competes at Goshen Invitational- Girls Take 1st!

The Clinton-Massie Middle School track and field teams opened their season on the road, traveling to Goshen to compete in a competitive invitational meet featuring a strong field of programs. Participating schools included Batavia, Bethel-Tate, Clermont Northeastern, Clinton-Massie, Georgetown, Hamersville, Mariemont, Mt. Orab, New Richmond, and Waynesville. The Falcons made an immediate statement—highlighted by a dominant performance from the girls team, who captured 1st place overall with 139 points. The boys team also delivered a solid showing, finishing 5th overall with 52 points. Girls Lead the Way Clinton-Massie’s girls team showcased depth and talent across the board, securing multiple top finishes in both running and field events. • Brea Migal led the charge with a 1st place finish in the 200 hurdles and a 2nd place finish in the 100 hurdles, while also contributing to relay success. • Chaylen Trampler dominated the throwing events, taking 1st in both discus and shot put. • Josie Arledge cleared the competition with a 1st place finish in pole vault, and also contributed to a strong relay performance. • Sophie Ashley placed 3rd in the 100m and earned 1st place in long jump, adding valuable points for the Falcons. The Falcons also excelled in relays, with multiple top-three finishes helping separate them from the field and secure the team title. Strong Performances on the Boys Side The boys team put together a competitive outing with several standout efforts: • The 4x100m relay team captured a 1st place finish, highlighting the team’s speed and coordination. • The 4x200m relay team also earned 1st place, continuing a strong showing in sprint relays. • Creo Haines turned in strong distance performances, including a 4th place finish in the 400m and 5th place in the 1600m. • Additional points came from across the lineup, demonstrating depth and competitiveness in multiple events. Looking Ahead Clinton-Massie will look to build on this strong start as they travel to Monroe on April 9 to compete in the Monroe Relays. With a first-place finish already under their belt and contributions coming from across the roster, the Falcons have set the tone early for what promises to be an exciting season.
