Clinton-Massie Middle School Track Shines at Monroe Relays; Trampler Sets School Record

The Clinton-Massie Middle School track teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Monroe Relays on April 9, highlighted by a dominant showing from the girls team and a record-breaking throw from Chaylen Trampler. The Lady Falcons captured 1st place overall with 106 points, showcasing depth, speed, and strength across multiple events. The boys team also turned in a strong performance, finishing 5th overall with 57 points. Leading the way was Chaylen Trampler, who etched her name into the record books with a new school record in the girls shot put, launching a throw of 37-2.00. Trampler also added a first-place finish in discus, capping off a dominant day in the throwing events. The girls team saw success across the board, including multiple relay victories and top finishes. The 4x800 relay team claimed first place, while the 800 sprint medley relay also secured a top finish. In field events, Josie Arledge took first in pole vault, and Bethany Bazemore added strong finishes in both discus and shot put. On the boys side, Clinton-Massie competed well against a strong field, earning key points in relays and field events. Notable performances included a 2nd place finish in long jump by Eli Theskin and solid efforts in discus and shot put. Overall, it was a successful meet for Clinton-Massie, highlighted by team success, individual achievements, and a historic performance from Trampler. The Falcons continue to build momentum as the season progresses, with confidence growing after a strong showing at Monroe.
