Dillion’s Big Day Powers JV Falcons Past East Clinton in High-Scoring Win

The Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons delivered an offensive explosion on Tuesday, rolling past East Clinton 24-8 behind a dominant performance from Cooper Dillion. Dillion led the charge at the plate, driving in four runs on four hits. He doubled twice and added a single, consistently coming through in key moments to fuel the Falcons’ attack. Clinton-Massie wasted no time setting the tone, jumping out to an early lead in the first inning. Cy Franks got things started with an RBI single, followed by Dillion and Lelind Stiles each delivering run-scoring doubles. Kenton Noggle capped the inning with a two-run single to give the Falcons a quick advantage. The offense stayed hot in the second inning, adding five more runs. Kaiden Sherwood and Will McCarty each drove in a run with singles, Levi Davidson added a two-run double, and Eli Akers brought in another with a groundout. The game broke wide open in the third inning, when Clinton-Massie erupted for 13 runs. Dillion highlighted the inning with a two-run double and an RBI single, while McCarty, Davidson, Stiles, Akers, and Franks all contributed run-scoring hits. The Falcons also capitalized on a pair of East Clinton errors to extend the lead even further. On the mound, Dillion earned the win, working three and two-thirds innings. He allowed five hits and seven runs (six earned) while striking out seven and walking six. Noggle came on in relief to help close things out. Clinton-Massie’s offense was relentless, piling up 27 hits in the contest. Dillion, Davidson, and McCarty each recorded four hits, while Noggle, Akers, Sherwood, Jackson McGraw, Franks, and Stiles all added multiple-hit performances. The Falcons also stayed aggressive on the base paths, swiping five bases, including two from Noggle, and drawing six walks as a team. East Clinton was led by RJ Hubbard, who collected two hits, while Jacob Camp and Wyatt Zurface each drove in two runs. The Astros also showed patience at the plate, drawing eight walks, with Lucas Smithson, Carson Duggins, and Railen Parks each earning two. The JV Falcons will look to carry their momentum into Wednesday as they return home to face Batavia.
