Clinton-Massie Middle School Track Teams Sweep Carlisle Quad

The Clinton-Massie Middle School track and field teams delivered a dominant performance on Thursday at the Carlisle Quad Meet, with both the boys and girls teams capturing 1st place overall against Carlisle, Legacy Christian, and Madison. The meet was highlighted by record-breaking performances and strong efforts across the board, showcasing the depth and talent of the Falcon program. On the girls side, the 4x200 meter relay team etched their names into the record books, breaking a long-standing school record with a time of 1:56.2, surpassing the previous mark of 1:57.03 set in 1987. The record-setting relay team consisted of Brea Migal, Gabby Scherz, Ansley Doyle, and Nina McHale, who combined speed and precision to secure the historic finish. In the field events, Josie Arledge tied the Clinton-Massie Middle School pole vault record, clearing 7 feet. With the performance, Arledge joins an elite group that includes Joleen McSurely, Paige Jenkins, and Katie Heyob, with the previous record height last achieved in 2010. The boys team also contributed to the overall team victory with multiple strong finishes and event wins, helping secure the top spot in the team standings. Overall, it was a complete team effort for Clinton-Massie, with athletes stepping up across running and field events to bring home a sweep of the competition. The Falcons will look to build on this momentum as they head to their next competition, the Lebanon Middle School Invitational on Monday.
