LEBANON, OH — Clinton-Massie’s middle school track and field teams delivered an outstanding performance at the Lebanon Junior High Invitational on April 20, 2026, highlighted by a team championship, multiple individual victories, and three record-breaking efforts. The Clinton-Massie girls team captured first place with 110 points, narrowly edging out Little Miami (104) and Milford (75.5) in a competitive field. The team’s depth and strong finishes across events powered them to the top of the standings. A major highlight of the meet came in the girls 400-meter dash, where Nina McHale raced to a first-place finish in a time of 1:02.36. Her performance set a new school record, surpassing the previous mark of 1:03.3 set by Heather Gustin in 1998. In the field events, Josie Arledge continued her dominance in the pole vault. Arledge cleared 7 feet, 6 inches to take first place while breaking her own previous school record of 7 feet. Her continued improvement has solidified her as one of the area’s top young vaulters. On the boys side, the 4x200-meter relay team made history once again. The group of Carter Harris, Kolton Rudduck, Creo Haines, and Finn Murray broke their own school record with an impressive time of 1:42.48. The quartet had previously set the record at 1:43.67 earlier this season at Waynesville, showcasing their rapid progression and strong chemistry as a unit. In total, Clinton-Massie athletes accounted for three new school records on the day, a testament to the program’s growth and competitiveness. With strong performances across both teams and continued record-breaking success, Clinton-Massie middle school track and field is building momentum as the season progresses.
