The Clinton-Massie Junior Varsity Falcons used timely hitting and aggressive base running to secure an 11-5 win over the Western Brown Junior Varsity Broncos on Monday at Clinton-Massie High School. Kenton Noggle led the offensive charge, driving in four runs on two hits. He delivered a two-run single in the first inning and added another RBI knock in the third, consistently coming through in key moments. Clinton-Massie wasted no time getting on the board, plating four runs in the bottom of the first inning. Jackson McGraw and Will McCarty were both hit by pitches with the bases loaded to bring in runs, before Noggle followed with a two-run single to give the Falcons an early advantage. The Falcons added to their lead in the second inning when McGraw lined an RBI single down the left field line, pushing the score to 5-2. Clinton-Massie continued to build momentum in the third inning, scoring three more runs behind RBI singles from Noggle, Cy Franks, and Lelind Stiles to extend the lead. On the mound, McGraw earned the win, going three and one-third innings while allowing four hits and four runs (three earned). He walked three and kept Western Brown from mounting a sustained comeback. Franks came on in relief to secure the save. The Falcons were relentless on the base paths, swiping eight stolen bases in the game. Eli Akers and Stiles each recorded multiple steals, helping keep pressure on the Broncos’ defense throughout. Western Brown saw contributions from several players, with their number eight hitter driving in two runs. Four different Broncos recorded hits in the effort. Clinton-Massie will look to complete the sweep as they travel to Western Brown for a rematch on Wednesday.
